Investigator
Tamara Gojković is assistant professor at the Department of Medical Biochemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade. During her undergraduate and doctoral studies, she had scientific research in GlaxoSmithKline research laboratory (Cairo, Egypt), and at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Zagreb. She completed specialist academic studies (biochemical diagnostics) in 2017, and defended her doctoral dissertation in 2018. She participated in several international and national projects. In 2021, she became the principal investigator of "Preeclampsia metabolic phenotype network-PEMPNet" project (collaboration with Prof. Vesna Garovic, Ph.D., Mayo Clinic, MN, USA). She focused her research on lipidomics and various non-cholesterol sterols analysis by GC/FID, GC/MS, and HPLC-MS/MS techniques in order to identify individual steroid molecule's homeostasis disorders. She authored 29 papers in relevant international and national journals (h-index: 8). She is a member of European Network for Oxysterol Research (ENOR), editor of Journal of Medical Biochemistry, and reviewer in international journals. She is a member of the Team for promotion of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade.
