Jasmina Ivanišević, PhD

Investigator

Jasmina Ivanišević is currently employed as an assistant professor at the Department of Medical Biochemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade. She defended her doctoral thesis in 2016. She has been participating in scientific projects of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia and in several international projects. As an author or co-author, she has published 30 scientific papers in international and national journals (H-index: 11). Research interest of Jasmina Ivanišević is mainly focused on examining the parameters of oxidative stress and antioxidant protection, then the parameters of inflammation and lipid status in patients with various diseases and determining the importance of these parameters in the diagnosis and monitoring of diseases. She is a reviewer in several international journals of the M20 category. She has contributed to the work of national scientific and professional organizations, as well as professional bodies of the Faculty of Pharmacy. Member of the Serbian Society for Mitochondrial and Free-Radical Physiology, the Biochemical Society of Serbia (member of the Committee for the Role of Science in Society) and the Society of Medical Biochemists of Serbia (member of the Committee of Young Researchers).
