Research Associate, primarius Daniela Ardalić is a specialist in medical biochemistry and the head of the Department of Medical Biochemistry at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic "Narodni Front", Belgrade. She defended her doctoral dissertation entitled "Indicators of oxidative stress, lipid profile and status of the enzyme paraoxonase 1 in pregnancy without complications and after delivery" in 2014. During her further research, Daniela Ardalić extended the study of metabolic changes in the field of high-risk pregnancies, with special focus on the lipid profile parameters and oxidative lipid modifications research in the first trimester of pregnancy, which could be important for the risk assessment for pregnancy complications development and pregnancy outcome. She is the author of over 18 scientific papers in international and national journals (h- index: 5).
